If you’re a fan of history and high-flying fun, stop by the Palm Springs Air Museum Flower Drop & Air Fair for a day of flight exhibitions, live music from Heatwave Band, a beer garden for those over 21, fun for kids, and a Memorial Day ceremony. This year’s flying aircraft includes the P-51, P-63, T-28, the Bearcat and the B-25 Mitchell Bomber. At 1pm, the B-25 Mitchell Bomber will do a fly-by and drop over 3,000 red and white carnations in memory of all who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Tokyo Raid and there will be a special presentation of the Congressional Gold Medal.
