It is 7,300 yards long and has the highest stroke and slope rating at PGA West. Many of the holes are packed with pot bunkers, sand, and water. Designed by Pete Dye, the Stadium Course is intended for spectators. It’s no surprise that the Stadium Course has created many historic PGA moments. During the 1987 Skins Game, a highly viewed television event, Lee Trevino sank a hole-in-one to win $175,000.
In 2017, the Stadium Course at PGA West will hosts the annual Career Builders Challenge, originally known as the Bob Hope Classic.
